Dr. Janis Timm-Bottos

Janis Timm-Bottos is the principal investigator of the Creative engAGE Living Lab project.

Her sustained practice research work spanning four decades promotes arts-based social inclusion through the development of intergenerational neighbourhood and online art hives, along with specialized studios for groups requiring support to regain their footing in society.

A former pediatric physical therapist, Janis is an art therapist, associate professor in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Concordia University, and interdisciplinary researcher.
